- In 2007 it is quite simple to just run the manual install files that are downloaded by the SolidWorks Installation Manager from the SolidWorks Download folder.
- I've tried changing the GUID on each of the components that install these shortcuts, and I've even, at one point, tried changing the ProductCode property in each of the merge modules responsible for the shortcuts, but nothing seems to get the desired behaviour (out with the old and in with the new when upgrading).

If you try to uninstall sp0.0 before opening the installation manager, it won't detect any Explorer software to upgrade, so it's important to have sp0.0 installed before opening the installation manager. http://thenewnexus.net/installer-error/installer-error-65535.html If you've encountered this error you've mostly likely already have Explorer 2007 sp0.0 installed.
