Intel Motherboard Error Code 58
Seems to be just what I have also. But, I noted that another person was having the same LED error 58 too. And that's only if there's RAM in A1 or A2. BIOS disabled the cache System CMOS checksum bad - run Setup System CMOS RAM has been corrupted or modified incorrectly. this contact form
I've downloaded and installed the latest available level of the BIOS code but the problem is the same. It's best to buy the ram with the desired timings instead of OCing. 58 is failed ram OC. - The Insyde BIOS parameters are poorly explained, if at all, and Intel is basically unresponsive on the subject.

I'm concerned that it may happen again though, as there's no doubt that they were seated correctly in the first place, and all was fine for a couple of months (since I built the box) before this happened. Intel MB Insyde BIOS code 58 Discussion in 'Hardware' started by AngierNC, Aug 26, 2008. The dome shaped fan was interesting and did its job well but started dieing several... I reseated all of my Corsair 4GB sticks, which resolved the issue. I did remove the Noctua and I did reinsert the CPU, but didn't help.
Think i got a bad cpu? That being said, it's paid for itself and then some. This is my first build so I am a little lost as to the next steps to debug.
