RE: Error message on Dell Latitude D610 help!!!? I have looked for settings in the BIOS for SATA drives and can't find anything about hard drives at all. What I didn't notice however was that the "1. Ok i went out of town for a week came back got this error message on my pc saying internal hdd error!!!
- I just wondered if there was a quick fix to this.
- Hard drive specs?
- You can only upload files of type PNG, JPG, or JPEG.
- I initially thought the HD had gone, but it seemed to suspect because there was no evidence of failing or failed hardware during the Windows installation.
- When I boot it up I get the message "Internal HDD Hard Error !
- HDD HARD error!
- If your laptop still says "no bootable devices" after you reinstall it - try clicking F12 while rebooting to see if you can change the boot device to make sure that it is the hard drive (and try a second time with a "repair" disk, if you've burned one for your operating system).

There has to be something in the bios telling the system that it has a hard drive. If it still can't boot up from the hard drive - the drive's boot sector may have developed enough errors to kill it as a bootable drive - been there, done that. have a peek at these guys Rite now I believe I have 1gb ram and 40gb hard drive I'm looking to upgrade it to 2gb ram and 120gb hard drive for $83 Diy plz help... A case like this could easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. absolutely no problems...
