You could try an XP install if you have a disc, to help narrow down what could be wrong? Firstly you'd have to install a new hard disk as primary and install windows on the good new drive. I love u all.. Unfortunately for me, the laptop I'm working with has Phoenix BIOS, which doesn't allow me to alter any advanced BIOS options, including disabling AHCI.

The Bios doesn't have the Sata Native option and I've tryed with the same file the guide uses and it doesn't work. Then burn that edited disk image file to new cd. –CT.
